Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. Some say the gospel is veiled ,I say if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Now we have been given the treasures of heaven in into our earthen vessels our bodies, that the excellence of the power may be of God to work through us to the glory of God and nothing of our self The idea is, that they man altogether insufficient of their own strength to accomplish what was accomplished by the gospel. That the excellency of the power may be of God; and not of man - God keeps us continually dependent upon himself; we have nothing but what we have received, and we receive every necessary supply just when it is necessary; and have nothing at our own command. The good therefore that is done is so evidently from the power of God, that none can pretend to share the glory with him.He takes away a stumbling block, which darkened among some, the bright shining of the ministry of the Gospel, that is, because the apostles themself were at one time troubled and pious people.. Paul answers that he and his associates are as it were, earthen vessels, but yet there is in them a most precious treasure not from man but from the Lord of heaven. that all men may understand that they do not stand by any man's power, but by the Divine power of God, . While we are afflicted and hard-pressed on every side, yet we are not crushed; while we are perplexed, but not in despair; we are persecuted, every day even to the uttermost beyond comprehension at times Brethren God have not forsaken you for we are his children, a good father does not abandon his children. ; we are struck down, every we are been put to shame sometimes we are know to be the most meserable of all people , but i say unto you no man can destroy you , you are born again you belong in the family of God, you have been accepted. We are always carrying about in our body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus Christ also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh the body. So then death is working in us, for to bring life in you.. And since there is spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore speak we also believe and therefore speak, for we know that God who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you. For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to rise up in the hearts of men , to the glory of God.Seeing the Invisible Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though the flesh our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man the Spirit is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction we will overcome through the power in Jesus Christ , which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are most excelent and eternal. The Lord May open the eyes of your understanding P_R- Evang, Leona Green |
