The Manifold Grace
Your reward is not carnal but Spiritual Mark 10:29
If any one have Lost some natural resource , love ones , or a relationship, for the sake of loving and choosing to follow after the Lord their Gain will exced the lost , in the spiritual sense ' God's grace is far greater than worldly riches. The disciples wanted to know, and ask Jesus who will be able to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, That they shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
The sense in which we can approach this verse to harmonize with the context : The people and possessions of the verse are literal people but the people and possessions of verse thirty are spiritual in nature! Jesus is speaking to the natural people , about the spiritual enrichment of loosing something natural to gain something spiritual
We might explain it this way: That which you may have to give up is physical; but, that which you will receive is spiritual - and will be many times greater!
In the two thousand years since the death of our Lord , many dedicated disciples have found fulfillment in these verses in their own lives. They have had to "leave" their people and possessions in order to follow Christ. But, for every fleshly relationship that was given up - they would have gained hundreds of brothers and sisters in Christ in the church the body of Christ ; many alienated parent have found hundreds in God's family to care for them; for every possession lost - many have gained spiritual blessings and enrichment of live , that was many times greater than that which was lost.
The young rich ruler of this verse , he was so spiritually blind he thought he had everything to lose and nothing to gain
